3. Purpose and legal basis of data processing
keepUps processes the personal data of customers, suppliers, employees and partners to carry out business activities and fulfill related legal and contractual requirements, as well as for the other purposes listed in this privacy policy. Details can be found in the following sections.

Unless otherwise stated in our Privacy Policy, the legal basis for processing your data is your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. This is the case if you voluntarily transmit your data to us, for example when you register for our newsletter, register an online shop account with us, or agree to the storage of analysis cookies. If you have opted for "Klarna Invoice" as your payment option, you have consented to us processing the following personal data necessary for the processing of the purchase on account and an identity and creditworthiness check, such as first and last name, address, date of birth, gender, email address, IP address, telephone number as well as the data necessary for the processing of the purchase on account in connection with the order.  such as the number of items, item number, invoice amount and taxes in percentage, and transmitted to Klarna.
